there has been a mistake on my sponsors name on the spouse visa aplication.
E.g his actual name as per passport is e.g JOHN TOTLEY, however on the aplication it shows as TOTLEY JOHN. The names have been switched.

Thankyou

The sequence of transcribing the names varies from one system/database to another, therefore, if the surname was correctly placed into its corresponding place and if the same happens with the first name as well, then there shouldn't need of doing anything.Stressman wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 10:37 pmHi

What can I do , I have already paid the fees, should I send a letter with biometrics? Somebody please advise
Thankyou
Sorry my English not that good have difficult understanding. So are you saying that if he placed his surname on the first name section and vice versa it should not be a problem? Even if it reads his name as , 'surname' first, 'second name' last.seagul wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 11:40 pmThe sequence of transcribing the names varies from one system/database to another, therefore, if the surname was correctly placed into its corresponding place and if the same happens with the first name as well, then there shouldn't need of doing anything.Stressman wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 10:37 pmHi

If the surname is placed over/under the heading of "surname/Last name/Family name" and the first name to "forename/first name/given name" then there wouldn't be any issue at all.Stressman wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 12:28 amSorry my English not that good have difficult understanding. That alone might not be the reason of refusal rather could delay the application if it is really a crucial document. More likely you will be asked to supply it.Stressman wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 10:06 pmHi hope you can help.
I ( sponsor) have submitted the documents in the UK.
My wife has submitted her biometrics at vfs bangladesh. I just realised i forgot to tell her to submit her documents checklist that is generated by gov.uk that needed signing.
Now will they refuse her aplication because of this.
I know a online declaration was done during her online aplication.
Please let me know as I am losing my mind and have not told her yet.
