Airport Transit visa

Post by Doreen W. » Mon Sep 08, 2008 3:40 pm

Hello!

Can anybody help me with this problem:

My husband is planning to book a flight from Dublin to Peru, with a stopover in Madrid.
He is Peruvian and legally living in Dublin with a residence card (GNIB-card - 4EUFam), because I am German citizen.
Does he need a transit visa for his stopover in Madrid?
We would book 3 seperate flights: from Dublin to Madrid, Madrid to Lima and return and Madrid to Dublin. Unfortun\ately the spanish embassy can only reached by email and they dont answer to this emails!

Does anybody have experience in this?
Thank you for answers and help!
Best regards
Doreen

Check whether he needs a visa at all :?: Maybe there is a transit-area in Madrid :!: (The airport should know about that)

Otherwise I guess you'll have to apply for a visa along the usual route. :(
