Tier 2 Dependent partner live in proof

Post by Tash87 » Tue Sep 22, 2020 9:59 am

Hi,
I’m required to show that me and my partner live together. It says that I can submit utility bill or council tax Bill or bank statement.

If I submit council tax bill is one bill enough? Or proof needs to be for the complete tenure we have Been together?

It’s an In country application.

You need two years evidence, or since however long dependent has been in the uk,from 3 to 6 different sources in either joint names or addressed individually. Items to be spread evenly for every 3 to 4 months.

One single council tax document is not sufficient.

Thank you. We have a joint account in a bank in U.K. since the past 7 years and also 6 years of joint tenancy in different properties. Can letter from bank and Letting agents confirming this would suffice?

It can be any correspondence addressed to each of individually. It does not only have to be joint named documents.

How old should be the financial evidence

Post by Tash87 » Thu Oct 08, 2020 2:02 pm

Hello, I’m applying for in country tier 2 dependent visa for my partner.
The application was submitted on 30 sept 2020 biometrics are on 22oct.
I took out the bank statements for last 90 days on the 20th of September, can we submit it during the biometrics or I need a new one as it would be more than a month old by the time of biometrics.
Thanks

Its fine what you have. The date of application is the date you submit and pay online, that's what is relevant to your documents date. It is NOT the appointment date.
