FLR(M) extension..

Post by souperphly » Fri Oct 09, 2020 5:29 pm

Hi all,

Here we go again..

The time has come for my husband to extend his FLR(M) visa (to clarify, he is coming to the end of his first 2.5yr visa, and needs to extend for another 2.5yrs).

I have a couple of questions, and I'm sorry if these have been answered elsewhere.

1. Regarding the document checklist - are there any additional docs that I need to provide this time round, that I didn't have to provide last time (provided that my circumstances haven't changed). Similarly, are there any docs that I don't need to include this time? For example, would we need to get another property inspection report?

2. His current FLR(m) visa expires in Feb 2021. Am I right in thinking that the earliest we can apply to extend is 28 days prior his current visa expiry date?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Supply evidence of cohabitation which are correspondence in both names or each person over the past 2 years.

Thanks in advance for your help.

A2 instead A1 English test unless you have already passed B1 test which plenty of applicant inclined into it.

Property inspection report will only be required where you are sharing with unrelated adults despite wasn't asked/noticed by the visa authorities at earlier. Otherwise in other cases it won't be needed at all.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Thanks for both of your replies. That's really helpful.

I'm feeling much more calm about this application compared to the last one, which basically felt like a really long festival of stress and panic.

That is good, you will also help others along their way. Not until its done and over with a successful outcome does calmness set in.
