Hi there,
I few days ago I was finally granted with my Tier 2 Visa. After months of waiting because of the pandemic, I received my passport back with a 90-Day Vignette. The problem is that I did not receive my approval letter (it should have come in the same envelope). At first I thought that was normal and wasn't that much of a deal, but now some people are telling me that I need the approval letter to be able to enter the country.
I have contacted UKVI and they told me that they will have an answer within 15 working days, but I need to be in the UK by 25th October.
So my question is: Do I really need my approval letter to be able to cross borders? Do immigration officials really ask for it or they only check for my vignette?
For me is totally unacceptable that because of a problem by either UKVI or VFS I have to (potentially) lose my job, but no one is giving me an answer.
Thanks!
