Spouse visa enquiry

Post by Kibokonilad » Thu Oct 22, 2020 11:17 am

I'm currently looking to marry my fiance overseas and bring her over. The process seems very long and convoluted. She currently lives in the UAE and may have to move to Norway temporarily due to family matters where I believe I will be applying for her whilst she is there. Is this likely going to cause an issue if she's not at her country of residence. Additionally in terms of savings I earn more than what is required as a minimum but have no savings, I own my own house and live comfortably. Will this issue of no savings cause problems in terms of eligibility.

No, HO not interested in bank balance but that sponsor is having sufficient income and or savings meeting their set minimum requirement.

She can apply for UAE or Norway as long as she has a resident permit to live in that country.

If you are earning £18,600 then no savings is required.
