Switching From PBS Dependent (Tier 2 ICT) to Tier 2 General

I am in UK from January, 2019 (1 year 10 months) on PBS dependent (Tier-2 ICT).

Now, my employer want to sponsor me on Tier - 2 General on short occupation list, My questions are:

1.) Can we apply 5 years of restricted CoS in one go or is there any limit on the number of years for my current scenario?

2.) Usually, we have to go out and apply from home country but this link

says that we can apply within the country?

Is this possible for my scenarios? Can anyone provide the link to switch visa from PBS dependent to Tier-2 General?

Then they ask which which i have currently

Should i select Intra company work permit holder or tier-2 (intra company transfer): Long term staff leave to remove or should i select i have different visa type and select "PBS Dependent"

My BRP says "PBS Dependent - Leave to Remain", what should i select while applying?

1) yes you can apply for 5 years
2)As of today , guidance allows ppl to switch within UK.But you need to check the guidance again after your cos is generated and before submitting the application to see if the switching within is still allowed
3) There will be an option to type your current visa.Use that.

Additional Question:

4.) There is 6 years restriction rule for Tier-2 (ICT - Main Applicant), they can't extend more than 6 years. SO if someone stayed for 2 years on ICT then they can't apply for more than 4 years and need 12 months cooling off period.

Does this applies to Tier-2 (ICT - Dependents) too??

The limit for ICT is 5 years, very higher earners is 9 years.

The 6 year cap applies ONLY to tier 2 general. The caps do NOT apply to PBS dependents.

ICT and general have different rules!
