Simply carry on waiting with the optimism that caseworker won't liaise with your employer, the same happens for many.Globe Trotter wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 3:48 pmHi,
I have applied for my family's visa in the first week of August.
It was a dependant visa.
For income proof I had submitted six months of payslips.
Now my employer is saying they are unable to sustain due to the current pandemic and wants to close down the business.
And they have asked me to look for another job.
My last day in this company would be 31st October.
I should have been employed in the same company till the outcome of visa application but I am unable to do so due to unavoidable circumstances.
What should be my next course of action?
Please advise.
Thanks,
Globe trotter

1- Is it okay if I get another job?
2- Do I need to inform HO about the same?
3- What all do I have to co-ordinate/ share information with HO in case I take up another offer?
Thanks,
Globe Trotter
Any type of contract/working pattern is acceptable including zero hour, but usually zero hours contract doesn't guarantee any income likewise someone on fixed wages. However, if employer still wishes then may confirm it by spotlighting it along with the type of contract either permanent or temporary.Globe Trotter wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 11:27 amMany thanks Seagul for your prompt response.
1- If at all I take up a new job, will a 0 hrs contract help in any way?
And in case UKVI asks for the letter of employment, how can I prove the following:
1- That my monthly take home is more than 2100 per month.
2- That it is a permanent/ full time job.
(As it is a 0 hrs contract, I presume it will not reflect any of the following mentioned above).
Regards

I have gone through the UKVI guidelines but failed to locate the clause 'Any type of contract/working pattern is acceptable including zero hour'.
Can you please point it out to me on which page is it mentioned.

Employment can be full-time or part-time.
Employment can be permanent, a fixed-term contract or with an agency.

To call my family of three members, I have given the address of the house where they will be staying (in the application).
When they arrive in the UK, they will also have to self-isolate for 14 days.
Is it okay to hire a hotel room for self-quarantine or do they have to stay at the same address that has been mentioned in the application.
If questions are asked at the airport regarding the place of stay, will it create problems if the family says that for the first 14 days they will be staying at a particular hotel for self-quarantine.
Thanks,
Globe Trotter
The self quarantine (14 days) rules are same for everyone either a visitor or holding any other visa as the rule standing until the time of this post (keep checking the same websites & BBC news). These travellers can even self quarantine at an accomodation including a family/friend house instead just at a hotel only.Globe Trotter wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 1:16 pmMany thanks Seagul for your prompt response.
The link that you have sent is a generic link covering all visitors to the UK.
But my case is about settlement. My family has already mentioned in their application about their place of residence, when they move to the UK.
And now they want to stay at a hotel for self-isolation.
Is that permissible?
Kindest regards,
Globe Trotter
Only passport and tb certificate is required. Don't overthink the process if a visa has already been granted.Globe Trotter wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 11:02 amGood morning,
When my family moves from their home country to UK, will the following documents be asked at immigration:
1- Marriage certificate (of the applicant with sponsor)
2- TB certificate (it has expired two months ago)
3- Visa payment receipt
4- IHS payment receipt
5- Transcripts (to prove knowledge of English)
Are there any other mandatory documents that shall be asked at UK immigration?
Thanks,
Globe Trotter
Most importantly you should have filled the passenger locator form before arriving.Globe Trotter wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 11:02 am

Even though expired, ensure that you have the TB certificate at hand on arrival. It expiry does not vacate the requirement to have and show it.Globe Trotter wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 11:02 amGood morning,

No limit and as soon as they collect their BRP cards from the designated post office they can leave the UK. Also, there is no absence limit for visas issued under family route.Globe Trotter wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 7:06 pmHello,
After the dependant family reaches UK, is there any minimum time limit that is required for them to stay in the UK?
Or they are not bound by any time frame, as in case of Entrepreneur visa where the applicant had to stay in UK for not less than 180 days.
Regards
Sure. You can wade through the following links and also can search through the member's practical experiences:Globe Trotter wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 7:34 pmMany thanks Seagul for your prompt response.
Is there any link to the UKVI guidelines that informs us of the other requirements for this route?
