To calculate it usecitizen2010 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 1:37 pmHello All,
I have a question regarding when is the earliest one can apply for FLR (M) extension.
Home Office guidance states 28 days before the current visa expires but I've also seen some forums state extension can be applied 30 months after entry into UK.
My wife entered UK on 10.05.2018 and her BRP is valid until 02.02.21. Any guidance on when is the earliest we can apply?
Unless the personal circumstances/immigration rules( including the IHS/fee rise) aren't changing, the extension should be applied very close to expiry to avail the maximum length of visa whilst fending off of any chance of shortfall over the qualifying period.citizen2010 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 1:37 pmHello All,

That means if you apply bit earlier and gets the decision whereby your existing leave still have got substantial amount of time left then only 28 days would be carried forward on to new visa on approval.citizen2010 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 10:21 pmHi Forum,
Does anyone know the meaning of this statement?
"If you’re extending to stay with the same family member, you’ll only get up to 28 days left on your current stay added to your new visa."

Thank you.
Why are you duplicating questions on multiple fronts....citizen2010 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 10:21 pmHi Forum,
