Submit passport documents on Saturday

Hi all

I am about to post my supporting documents to the passport office in Peterborough for my first passport. I will post them by Royal Mail special delivery delivery tomorrow which means it will get delivered on Saturday. Is the passport office open on Saturdays? Or should I delay posting so that it gets delivered on Monday?

Yes. It is fine. Although, they have there own mechanism of collection. The proof of delivery may take some days to get updated on the royal mail system. That does not mean that your item is not delivered.
