Hi again,

Thank you for your kind response.

Please review below the covering letter and advice if that's look fine.

Covering letter

I am a British citizen and I am including this letter to support of my wife’s visa extension application in the UK as my dependent.

Relationship History

Pakistan

XXX and I met for the first time in Karachi Pakistan on 11 April 2018, during our religious marriage ceremony. Ours was an arranged marriage and it is a norm in Pakistan that Bride and Groom to only meet on the day of the wedding.

We lived together from 11 April 2018 to 27 April 2018, when at the end of my annual leave, I returned to UK for work. Since my return, we regularly communicated via telephone.

United Kingdom

XXX and I met for the second time in Karachi Pakistan on 30 September 2018. My wife’s initial entry clearance visa was granted on 04 October 2018. We both arrived in United Kingdom on 27 October 2018. Since that date we have been living together at XYZ (address)

Child

My wife XXX gave birth to our son XX DOD XX. Our son is residing with us at above address since his birth.

We solely occupy this privately rented property. I have enclosed a copy of tenancy agreement that was signed on 27/09/2018.

Financial Support

I am financially capable of fully supporting my wife and my son and will cover all our living expenses.

Please be advised that we both have a joint bank account in Natwest Bank. I also have an account in Natwest Bank solely on my name.

Please note, Natwest Bank issue statements in 3 different formats (paper statements, online statements and paper transactions statements) without issuance date. After questioning this with bank staff, I have been advised that they only issue statements showing periods without issuance date and all formats are acceptable by Home Office for Visa and Immigration purposes.

Therefore, I have included my last 6 months bank statements (paper statements), payslips and employer letter.

All above seems satisfactory. Optionally, if you wish then may exploit that opportunity to briefly spotlight about your financial calculations in same covering letter.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Hi again.

Thank you for your kind response.

My annual gross salary is £24k. However it may increase next year but don't know how much it would increase.
Should I mention £24k or next year higher salary?

I intend to apply my wife visa around May next year.

Apologies for asking questions so early because I want to be well prepared to avoid panicking situation at the last minute.

Seagul awaiting for your kind response.

Many Thanks

You will have to mention exactly the same figure as will be given in your employer letter which obviously will be the latest one (increased wages ££££). However, the HO will take the lowest wages figure during the last 6 months that will still be sufficient based on what you are earning presently.

Hi again.

Thank you again for prompt response.

I have some more questions where I need help please.

I am on a permanent employment and income is salaried. I have been with my current employer since 2008.

My salary is fixed and only increase every year.

Under what category we can apply?

I think it should be Category A. Is that correct?

Do I have to submit 6 months payslips and bank statements?

I read on forum that there are few questions in relation to income and meeting financial requirements.

Can you please advise which question applies to us? Apologies I don't have exact questions in front of me.

My wife is a full time house wife.

Seagul awaiting for your kind response.

Many Thanks

None-applicant members have no sight over the online forms but all relevant questions/sections are required to be answered truthfully.

Hi again

Thank you both for answering the questions.

I am aware that I should be asking questions near to time filling the application form. However I am thinking a head to avoid any confusion & panic situation.

I am really thankful your help so far. I would appreciate your help for some clarification on questions outlined below

1) Do you and your partner have any shared financial responsibilities?
Although we have council Tax, electricity & gas bill are on Joint name but I pay them from my own account. My wife is a full time housewife. What should I say here? Yes or No

2) if you left the UK, do you and your children have family or friends in the country you would return to?
My wife has her sisters & brothers back so do I. What should I say here?

Seagul and others awaiting for kind response.

Many Thanks

1. Say yes and doesn't matter who pays.
2. Pretty self explanatory

Hi again

Thank you for prompt response.

I am going through my wife's Passport and BRP and notice that there are different start and end dates which are outlined below

Vignette

Start
11 October 2018
Ends
10 November 2018

Initial visa entry clearance approval letter dated 04 October 2018 states my wife will have permission to be in the U.K. Known as Leave to Enter as Partner (Standard) from 11 October 2018 to 11 July 2021. However BRP states following dates
Date of issue
04 October 2018
Valid until
11 July 2021

So my question is what will be her Visa start and end date?

This is so confusing.

Seagul awaiting for kind response.

Many Thanks

Hi all,

You all helped me so much previously. I would appreciate if any experienced member provide clarification on the point outlined below.

Situation is I applied council house along with my wife (spouse visa holder) and my British born son.

My question is if they offer us the house and Tenancy will be on my name as main applicant but include wife & child name. Would it effect her visa extension. Does this treated as claming public fund?

I am confused. Please help.

Seagul or other experts please advice on this.

Many Thanks.
