Police Registration

Hello All,

I have just received a further Leave to Remain after a successful application to change Tier 2 employer.

The decision email states that I should register with police, however, I already did that when I got into the country the first time. So should I register as if I just arrived? Or just go to the nearest police station to update my details like I do when I change my passport, visa type, address, etc?

I found this link for Metropolitan Police that explains requirement for each change, for example, local police station is fine if you are changing address, however you should visit OVRO if you are changing or extending visa :
