Being a silent reader. Follow is my father application timeline.

Received your application has been issued email on the 18-Nov-2020
Received passport collection email 30-Nov-2020

Alhumdulilah, my father got 10 year multiple visa.

Please note he has been to the UK about 5 times with 3 different visit visa, however, in 2018, his visa was refused for the reason, that he might won't come back, a bizzare outcome. At that time, we did receive an email (your UK visa application has been concluded). So the trend is there but offcourse cannot guarantee until you receive the visa.

Just a suggestion that to obtain a visit visa it is very important to satisfy the embassy that you will come back, hence you need to show the strong ties in Pakistan. Mother / father / children IDS/ Work, income sources in Pakistan, Charity work etc/ Anything to show that he/she has an interest to come back to the country.

Hi guys I need help i recently applied for my sister and her son to visit me in the UK for a short time of 2 weeks
Sister in her lates 40s and son 17 who depends on her I submitted application around the start of November and Received reply in around 2 weeks to say your application has been concluded. Here i will state what the immigration officer said I dont believe know why it has been like this or what else I can do to proof or provide as they were meant to come visit me and see me as I cant travel my self due to illness and health reasons.

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2- V4.10 of Appendix V
 The onus is on you to qualify for entry clearance based on your own circumstances
and your own intentions. You have said that your sponsor will help you with this visit
by paying for your maintenance and accommodation whilst you are in the United
Kingdom and I am satisfied that they are in a position to do so. But whilst I take that
into account in assessing your proposed maintenance and accommodation in the UK
that is only one aspect of the visitor rules and this sponsorship does not satisfy me of
your own intention to leave the UK on completion of your visit.
 You have stated that you are unemployed and that you have no income of your own.
You have also stated that you own land and that you receive profit from owning this
land. In support of this, you have submitted land ownership documents. However,
these documents in isolation do not confirm that you receive any additional income,
nor have detailed how much you receive. As a result, I am not satisfied that your
circumstances are as you have set out.
 You have stated that your visit will personally cost you approximately £2,200 for you
and your son. You have submitted your bank statement that has a closing balance of
£3,272. This equates to approximately 61 percent of your entire evidenced savings. I
am not satisfied that your wish to incur this expense is reasonable and this
undermines the credibility of your application.
 I note that you are widowed, that you intend to accompany your son to the UK, and
because of this I consider that you have demonstrated only limited ties to your home
country. As I have concerns about your personal circumstances, I have also
considered your previous immigration history and you have not demonstrated recent
travel or compliance to other countries with immigration procedures similar to those
of the United Kingdom as a family unit. Therefore, I am unable to offset my concerns,
against your immigration history.
 Given the above I am not satisfied that you are a genuine visitor and that you will
leave the UK at the end of their visit. I am also not satisfied that you are genuinely
seeking entry for a purpose that is permitted by the visitor routes (these are listed in
Appendices 3, 4 and 5). V4.2 (a) and (c).

have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2-V4.10 and V4.11-4.13 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules
for Visitors because:
 You have applied for a visa along with your mother. I am aware that you are
dependent on her and that she is funding your entire visit. I note that his visa
application has been refused. As she is no longer travelling to the United Kingdom
and no other reason for your travel without them has been put forward, I am not
satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the United Kingdom now. As a
result I am not satisfied that you are a genuine visitor and that you will leave the UK
at the end of their visit and that you are genuinely seeking entry for a purpose that is
permitted by the visitor routes (these are listed in Appendices 3, 4 and 5). I am also
not satisfied that adequate arrangements have been made for your travel to,
reception and care in the UK. V 4.2 (a),(c) and 4.11

The same happened with me in 2015 that i got email but there was no response from gerry's. So better is that you call Gerrys or contact UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service. search on google and send them an email, I did the same and the next day i got a call from Gerrys.

Your visa application reference number:GWFxxxxxxxx has been dispatched to the UK, for processing.

I thought they sent all the application to Abu Dhabi. Has that changed now?

Did you get your passport back? I received my issued email on Wednesday 24 March and still didn't get any email from VFS for collection or for delivery. I paid for home delivery courier service in Lahore, Pakistan.
