Tier 4 to Tier 2 (shortage occupation)

Post by Kshah09 » Wed Nov 25, 2020 12:23 pm

Hi,

I am concerned regarding the CoS assigned to me by my employer.

I am switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2. I have already submitted my application and booked an appointment for my biometrics. My job code assigned on my CoS comes under shortage occupation. However, my employer has not ticked the shortage occupation in the CoS and suggested that they do not go through the shortage occupation route. Therefore in my application I have also not ticked that my job is under shortage occupation.

Would this affect my visa process in any way and if it does what could I do?

Thank you in advance for any help or guidance.

I do not think this affects you in anyway as long as you pay full visa fee instead of Shortage visa fee. There wont be any issue.
