Perhaps it's time to contact a solicitor? Also, have they replied to your MP? I believe they have sent the same letter to your MP as well.

I am really sorry that you are facing such delays! Hope all gets better for you and a decision in your favour is made soon. 10 months is a really long time!!!

Oh..no..it is frustated..you have waited already 10months.
My suggestion is better to keep write to your local MP.He is the only one can make this forward.
It is really a hard time.
Thanks.

Hi Yaz069, they are clearly taking long time and in fact really long! Perhaps, you need follow up with a written letter and send it using recorded delivery?

Letter to sounds something like this.. you can change the wording if you like;

Dear Home Office,

Subject: BRP for SET (P) Indefinite Leave to Remain

I have not received my Biometric Residence Permit for my Indefinite Leave to Remain that was approved on the XX/XX/2020 via email.
My card should have arrived by XX/XX/2020 (10 working days) and now it is 19th November 2020 and I still do not have any information about my BRP (XX working days).

I did report the situation on the website and received the following response on XX/XX/2020:
"Please enter the automatically generated email with a reference number that you were sent here"

I waited for further XX number of working days and phoned the number provided 03001232241 on XX/XX/2020 and was told that I will be contacted within two working days, which should have been XX/XX/2020.

However, XX number of days have passed and I have still not heard anything. Could you please let me know how can I check the status of the BRP?

In order for you to be able to help track my applications; given below are my details;

Name:
Date of Birth:
Home Office reference number:
Application reference:
Postal address:

This is very critical for me to receive the response as I need my BRP for the purpose of acquiring work (or any other suitable reason that you have).

I can be reached either electronically or by post, whatever is suitable for the Home Office

My emails address:
Postal Address:

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,
Your Name

Hi quick update, I’ve received the following email from the home office yesterday at 6:42 PM and it’s as following.

Name: YA*********
UKVI ref: 12**************

FedEx consignment number: 10********
Deliver to: ************

Do not respond to this message

Please note that our supplier has recently changed its registered name from TNT to FedEx Express UK. You may still receive TNT branded messages from them.

If you made a non-asylum immigration application

Your application has been decided and a biometric card is on its way to you.

If you made an asylum application

This message relates to your Application Registration Card, if you have not already received a decision on your application.

Delivery of your card

Our secure delivery partner (FedEx) will receive your card later tonight and will move it through their network to your local delivery depot.

Within two working days of your card reaching the local delivery depot FedEx will try to deliver it to the address above.

Weekends and public holidays are not working days.

FedEx will provide email and SMS updates about your delivery, if you have given us permission to share your contact details. Look out for their updates, including checking your junk or spam folders.

How will I know the message is really from FedEx?

All messages from FedEx will quote the consignment number shown at the top of this email.

Can I track my delivery?

You can use the FedEx consignment number and the delivery address postcode to track your delivery at: https://delivery.tnt.com/tracking

Tracking data should be available once your package has reached the local delivery depot.

My delivery details do not appear on the tracking system. What should I do?

If your delivery details are not yet showing on the FedEx tracking system please do not contact UKVI, as we will not be able to see the tracking data either.

It can take one working day for delivery details to appear on the FedEx tracking system, so please check the FedEx website again after one working day.

If details of your delivery are still not showing after one working day please contact FedEx through their support page at: https://www.tnt.com/campaign/en_gb/hmpo.html

How many times will FedEx try to deliver my card?

They will make three attempts to deliver to the address above.

They will hold your card in their delivery network for 30 days. At any time during those 30 days you can contact FedEx to agree a delivery date that works for you.

If your card has not been delivered after 30 days FedEx will return it to UKVI. We will then try to contact you to find out why your card could not be delivered.

Can I change the day my card will be delivered?

This can only be done after details of your delivery appear on the FedEx tracking system.

If you want the card to be delivered to the address above, but on a different day, you can arrange this using the FedEx tracking system.

After logging in use the “Click here to arrange a redelivery” link, which you will find it at the top of the page.

Can I change the delivery address?

This can only be done after details of your delivery appear on the FedEx tracking system.

You cannot arrange a change of delivery address online and must contact FedEx. Further details are on the support page at: https://www.tnt.com/campaign/en_gb/hmpo.html

Please do not contact UKVI to arrange a change of delivery address.

What if I am not available when FedEx try to deliver?

The person to whom the biometric card has been issued does not need to be the person who receives the delivery.

If delivering to a home address FedEx are allowed to hand the package to someone who can prove their own identity with a passport, ID card or driving licence.

If delivering to a business address FedEx can also hand the package to someone who can show a photographic security pass for that business.

What if no-one can take delivery of my card?

FedEx will leave a calling card, and you should receive a “We missed you” message by SMS or email.

You can then use the FedEx tracking system to arrange a new delivery date. The process is explained at the question above “Can I change the day my card will be delivered?”

Yes indeed I did receive it but although I got my decision email on 7/10/2020 the issue date on the card is 25/11/2020.
The expiry date is 31/12/2024

Why 4 years I thought BRP should be for 10 years for ILR?

Answered so many times on the forum already if you cared to do a little research! 31/12/2024 is the date set that all biometric documents have to be upgraded with more enhanced security features!

https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence- ... rt-problem
If your BRP expires on 31 December 2024
You do not need to tell UKVI if your BRP expires on 31 December 2024 but you have leave to stay longer.

UKVI will update their information on how to update your BRP in early 2024. You do not need to do anything and your immigration status will not be affected.

Hi there,

There are two addresses; I assume you can send your letter or contact the HO on either of those!

Home Office,
SET (Protection Route) applications
The Capital Building
Liverpool
L3 9PP

and

UKVI
PO BOX 3468

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

Post by Alismith » Mon Nov 30, 2020 10:34 am

Hello everyone!

I have quick silly question. My ilr is due in December however HO guidlines says that i should apply 28 days before the leave expires.

Can i apply couple weeks before or is this a bad idea? I saw some posts here about people applying earlier and they still got response.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers!
