Hi Everyone,

I'm new so here so please excuse me. I am after some advice if anyone can help.
Me and my hubby to be have had an assessment done based on our skills and have enough points to emigrate, he is classed as the skilled worker and we are planning to leave, however with the credit crunch we are now unable to sell our house so the move has had to be postponed.
I just wanted to ask, has anyone else been in this situation and also are you able to transfer credit cards if they hav a balance to pay on them? or loans?

Have you applied? Whether or not you have applied, and when you applied, will affect how long you have got to sort everything out.

We originally applied but after visiting an expo, because of his qualificatons there were many companies who were prepared to offer him a job there and then but because of the money situation we were unable to accept. We were going to apply the other way but realised it takes 4 years for the whole process and we didnt want to wait this long. So we decided when we're ready to go, we will apply for some jobs for him and then it will be fast tracked. Does that make sense?
