FLR (M) Spouse Visa application

Post by clakruwan » Fri Nov 27, 2020 11:41 pm

Hi All,

I am applying for the FLR (M) extension after 2.5 years, can someone please help me to answer below questions asked in the application? My scenario is I applied for the FLR(M) in June 2018. and in December 2020 I have to re-new the same VISA for another 2.5 years.

"Please choose the reason you are applying for an extension, this includes if you are switching to a partner visa from another type"

Which answer should I select?
1. First extension as a partner (following an initial period of entry as a partner, or as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner of a settled person)

2. Additional extension as a partner

"Are there any factors which would make it difficult or impossible for you to integrate and establish a private life in that country?"

My son was born in UK last year hence he is a British Citizen. And my wife has ILR. Because of this it's difficult to start private life in my home country.

Would this be an appropriate answer?

Option 1 seems appropriate.

FLR (M) Spouse Visa application

Post by clakruwan » Tue Dec 01, 2020 1:19 am

Hi,

I am applying FLR(M) Spouse Visa 2.5 year extension this month. I need your advice with regarding below questions,

In the section where the application asks about Non applying children of mine, I added our son's details who is already a British citizen (so not applying in this same application).

Then in another section the question asked is,

"Does my wife have any other children in the UK that are not applying on this application?"

Do I need to fill in our son's details again (because he is not applying in this application and also my wife's child) under this question? or does it ask about any other children except our son who I've already mentioned in my section?

Thanks in advance.

The question is asking about any “other” children than what you listed already.
