Eligibility for ILR

Post by mta02 » Mon Dec 07, 2020 12:27 pm

Hi,

I am asking this on behalf of one of my friend. She first came to UK on 1/11/2017 on Tier2 PBS dependent visa and returned back to home country on 19/12/2017. Again came back to UK on 8/06/2018 collected Biometric card which says date of issue as 25/07/2018 and valid until 19/05/2020. Now she has further applied for extension and waiting for BRP (as PBS Global Talent dependent partner). Also from 08/06/2018 to till date she has not travelled outside UK. Can you please help me what is her eligibility to apply for ILR on 5 years route.

Thanks

Tier2 PBS dependent visa start date on passport - 25/11/2017 and valid until to 24/11/2017 (BRP was not collected) and she returned back to India on 19/12/2017
On the same Tier2 PBS dependent visa, BRP was collected and visa start date is 25/07/2018 valid until 19/05/2020
Now she has applied for extension on as ILR PBS dependent on 26/08/2020 (application delayed due to Covid) and awaiting confirmation

What visa did she eneter the UK with on 1/11/2017? Or is 25/11/2017 you wrote a typo??

Why wasn't the brp collected in 2017??

Did she make another application outside the UK for a PBS dependent visa in 2018?
ILR PBS dependent
There is no such visa category. What exactly has she applied for, ilr dependent on FLR M or PBS dependent?

She needs 5 years residence on PBS dependent visa before she will qualify for ilr, ie late in 2022.

Thank you CR001.
I checked with her and she seems to have collected BRP. and you are correct it is PBS Dependent visa (PBS, Startup, Innovator or Global Talent dependent Partner) extension which she is waiting for confirmation.
