Switch Tier2 ICT Dependent to Skilled Worker Visa

Hi,

My wife is on Tier 2 ICT dependent visa in UK. Her employer wants to sponsor the skilled worker visa. Please tell me the procedure to switch the visa. Does she have to go to the home country?

And if I am on ICT Tier2 visa. How to be her dependent and can I switch by staying in UK?

Yes, she should be able to switch to that visa within the UK.

You can switch over as her dependent at the same time or later (but before your current ICT visa expires). If you want to play safe, then you can apply later. If her visa gets rejected for any reason then you won't waste your application fee.

Thanks for this. I think previously people had to travel to home country. But with the new visa system, we can apply from UK as provided in the link.
