Spouse Visa Application for second wife married before divorce from first wife

Hi all dear members I have married in Uk in Oct 2010. While this marriage was active I married in Pakistan in 2014 July.i got divorced from my wife in Uk in 2017 and the marriage in Pakistan I have 3 kidz with its still active and now I want to bring my wife from Pakistan.my marriage was in Pakistan was done in 2014 and marriage certificate in Pakistan says dat of marriage 06/2014 and date of entry 12/2017 by the end of 2017 I was divorced already in Uk I need some experience advise on this as do I have to face any problems if I was married to wife’s at the same time and Uk wife is divorced and would like to bring the wife from Pakistan

Firstly, polygamy is allowed and LEGAL in Pakistan but not in UK.

There is no issues to get married in Pakistan even when you are married in UK AS LONG you do not intend to bring your Pakistani wife to UK while you are married in UK (because UK does not consider your marriage as legal as per immigration rules when you are already married in UK).

The best thing is to declare truthfully when ever asked about your relationships in the visa forms.

Usually all visa forms ask about your relationships. Did you declare your second wife during your OWN previous visa applications?

You should have declared and there would have been no problems as you were not applying for any immigration application for the second wife with the intent to bring her to UK while already married in UK.

Since you married Pakistani wife in 2014 (as per Pakistan’s law it is LEGAL to be married to more than one wife). You got divorced in 2017 in UK.

Since you are no longer married in UK, I do not see any issues in applying for an immigration application for your wife on the basis of marriage certificate from 2014 (as it was legal in Pakistan and your second wife is going to apply for a UK immigration application ONLY after you are divorced and no longer married in UK).

Thanks for such a detailed information .
I didn’t mention in any forms that I am married in Pakistan because in 2014 I had already indefinite status in Uk. And didn’t need to fill any forms . I have 3 kidz with the wife in Pakistan and I applied for their British passports has been 3 months I rang the hm passports office all they said we can’t give you a time frame and now my wife she has pass the English test ielts life skills.I paid all my taxes as self employed and I am planning to apply for her visa in January from Pakistan. Living single life is like a hell..further to your reply the same thing my Soliecters told me that I should I put a covering letter and explain all this situation. Coz after all this expensive process I don’t want end up in mess with home office All I want my kidz and my wife with me
