Received an email from the UK Decision Making Centre

Post by ngndgn7 » Fri Dec 11, 2020 7:15 pm

Hi everyone,,

I need your help about a situation happened to me.
I applied for Uk spouse visa for my wife on on 9th October 2020. Home office phoned me and my two employers on 27th November for the decision of my application. However on 10th December I received an email saying that “ Thank you for your online application which has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.”

I talked to my solicitor that I applied with for the visa. He said that email should normally be sent before home office phoned me and no decision been made yet. It’s been two weeks since they called me there is no decision yet.

Just wondered if anyone had same or similar situation? Should I be worried for that ?

A spouse visa can take 60 to 90 days or more. it is a standard generic email.

Where did your wife apply from?
Char (CR001 not Casa)
