Changing Visas

Hi all,

Great forum. Hoping I could get some help/advice.
Want to get my girlfriend out here from Canada.
We have thought about the marriage/fiancee angle and it seems she could qualify for the skilled immigration, but it seems as though it is quite a process and takes time.
We're thinking maybe she can visit on a working holiday visa and tee up some work and try and get someone to sponser her.
Can this be done?
Can you change to another visa that will let you stay longer while you are in Aust?
And if so, could it be indefinately?
Any help/advice will be appreciated.
