Hello everyone can anyone help me for update on how long long it take to receive a biometric card

Date of application .16/04/2020
3 extension
Reuse biometric.10/09/2020
IDV picture /done on 10/10/2020
Application granted on.27/11/2020
Biometric pending ..


Did anyone have idea how long it take to get the biometric because the previous one was receive 2 days after decision letter did anyone have idea how long any help will really appreciated .thanks

Normally within 10 working days. Most times delay occurs if you changed your address whilst application still pending. I’ll advice that you phone TNT to check with them. I’m still waiting too cos they sent it to my old address even after updating them of my new address since October. Thank God I called TNT to rectify.

Hello everyone,

After 2.5 years it's that time again for extention. I'm in the process of filling up the online application.


FLR FP first extension. My previous grant application was on 7 years sole parent ten years route and my child other parent wasn't living with us at that time. Both parents and children are now living together in same adress, both parents on ten years route.

My question is, on the application form there is a section where they ask, do you have a partner who is not applying on this application?.

1) What should be my answer on that, because I'm worry if I answer yes for them not to put me on partner route because I did not qualify as partner. Is it compulsory to add partner details?, although both of us are on ten years parent route.


Another question is, there is a section where they ask child other parent, when I click yes, they ask for evidence of access/ contact arrangements from the other parent, but we both live together at same adress. I didn't put other parent details for my previous application and everything was pretty straightforward.


2) My question is, is it compulsory to add the child other parent details on the application?. As both now live in the same adress.

Please I need help from members. Thanks

Are you sure you both are on parent route because as i understand parent route, if you were sole parent and got grant based on your child lived in the uk continuesly for 7 years.
On what ground other parent got grant then? Can't be the sole parent again, sole parent is you!

If you share parental responsibility, the child’s other parent must:

not be your partner
be either a British citizen or settled in the UK.

Are you sure you both are on parent route because as i understand parent route, if you were sole parent and got grant based on your child lived in the uk continuesly for 7 years.

It seems you don't have sole parental responsibility, even if you and other parent were living in a different address. Clearly other parent is involved in your child's life and share that parental responsibility. So both parent getting a parent route visa , i am trying to understand how. I would understand if it was on private life. If senior member can shed light on this. Thanks.
And you said you and child's other parent live on the same address. However, it's not clear whether as a couple or just sharing the house. If you aren't together and only sharing the house, it will take effort to convince ukvi that you aren't living there as a couple. And if you are couple then you have to tell them the truth.
