What did you apply for? Have you previously used the IELTS for a previous application such as spouse visa before and it has now expired? Does the IELTS academic has a number on it UKVI?Wonderful12 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 4:47 pmHi all, I have just received this from HO
"We request that you please provide an updated IELTs English language test report, as we were uanble to verify the report submitted. You have 5 days to send these document"
The one I initially sent was an Academic IELTs which was written in November 2018. Application was submitted in October 2020.
Do I send it back again or apply for a fast track NARIC (evidence the level of your degree and/or your English language proficiency for the UK Home Office) or send them a letter from the university saying the course was taught in English. I also have an existing offer from university of West London
Is the 5 days working days or not?
Thanks so much
Kindly advise and thanks
I’m unsure why you have used a certificate which has not been used for a partner applications previously. It’s very risky thing to do.Wonderful12 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 10:57 pmThis is for a spouse visa.
No its always been used for academic purposes.
It was written at the British Council and No there is no mention of UKVI on the test report. It has a test number, test centre number, candidate number
Running out of options as NARIC is out for a Christmas break
"Before making a decision under Appendix FM or this Appendix, the decision-maker may contact the applicant or their representative in writing or otherwise to request further information or documents. The material requested must be received at the address specified in the request within a reasonable timescale specified in the request."Wonderful12 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 12:13 pmThank you for your response.
Alternatively, Can I ask for an extension from the Home office to provide this evidence?
Unsure if 5 days constitute to 5 working days or 5 days from time of receipt
Cheers
If you have the NARIC and sure all meeting requirements, send it as is.
