spouse visa extension (2 categories?)

Post by saro00 » Wed Dec 30, 2020 10:48 am

I want to apply for spouse visa extension in the end of may 2021.

Since last month I started working on zero hours paye salary contract as a cleaner. My average variable salary per month will be approximately 1000. (category B ??)

My husband is a british citizen and self employed. His 2020-2021 net profit will be approximately 13000. Due to covid, his income has reduced. He is still on self employment. (category F ??)

My question is, can i apply on 2 categories (cat-B for variable paye and cat-F for one year self employment) to combine our income to overcome the income threshold of 18600 ?

CAT B and CAT F is extremely complex!

Why don't you look at the current concession?

"if you’re self-employed, a loss of annual income due to coronavirus between 1 March 2020 and 1 January 2021 will usually be disregarded, along with the impact on employment income from the same period for future applications."

Thanks for replying.
I had read this page as someome sent me.
But I couldn't understand clearly.
When they say, they will disregard means, will they calculate only from Jan 2021 to march 2021?

(Let me add more info :
My husband started self employment in the half way of 2019-2020. So, even previous 6 months' income was not that good)
