Hello again,
If I am not wrong Flr fp parent application fee:£1033/nhs (adult 2.5 years) £1560 ?

Thanks
Well, I paid for my Mrs back in September
Leave to remain fee : £1,033
NHS (IHS): £1000 IHS is now £1560 as from October.
Total: £2033

But mind you that was September, don't know how much the current fee is now.
Hi.. thanks again..it’s really hard the much money need to spend for the extension

As far as I know you don’t need to send passport or post documents unless UKVI have asked you ? If they need any further documents they tell you to email them.
Hi
I posted my documents because ukvi gave me the option to send them via email or post.so it was a massive bundle so I posted them but I retained my passport n brp.But haven’t heard yet from home office.

Happy new year everybody,I pray this year gives us all our hearts desire.
Please I need advice about renewing my residency but I have a big problem with my Ex and mother of 2 British born,we broke up just over 2 years now,I always pick the kids at school once or twice in a week and we both agree amount of money that I will be giving to support them every month until the first lockdown because I lost my job immediately,so I don’t have permanent job after I working every city I can find job and I missed 2 months of paying and she started blocking me anytime I call to greet the kids and now she don’t want to give me the kids original birth certificate and she don’t want to write letter confirmation all my contributions.it’s my third extension.

Please can someone advice on what to do and if I can do the application myself because everything is so tight now, can’t I afford solicitor and I have a month and half before my leave expiry.

You don’t need to ask the children’s birth certificate from the mother, just go to the council where you register your children and request a copy of their birth certificate, the council will just ask you the children’s name and your relationship to them and pay on the counter you’ll have a copy of it in 3days time.

Also , just explain your situation in the home office by writing a personal statement that your relationship broke down 2 years ago blah blah ..

I hope it helps

Hi All,

I need some advice regarding documents requirement for flr fp extention.

My wife had her first flr fp visa approved in August 2018, now applying for flr fp extension under 10 year partner route. I am doing it without the solicitor this time so want to make sure providing all the required documents. I am British and so are our kids.

I will be providing Applicants passport, visa, UK Naric certificates, Bank statements, marriage cert, kids birth certificates, my naturalisation certificate, my passport, my driving licence.

Along with this do I need to provide anything more?

Youngest child was born after applying for my wife’s visa in 2018, so do I need to provide anything for this child in specific?

I don’t remember remember providing my bank statements last time, do I need to?

My wife will be completing her 10 years stay in 2022, (all legally so far) will she need more extensions under this route or can she apply for ILR based on 10 year long stay.

Anything else in specific to provide or consider while making this extension?

Thank you.

I made my application on late August, and just this 11 December they returned an old documents for my previous applications which I asked them to reconsider. They sent the documents saying they have scanned all that. I’m yet to hear anything from them because this is frustrating sometimes. Especially when you are not a lazy person who wants to sit at home all the time without working.

Hi everyone

FLR FP , 2019 Processing times , August 2019

I have been reading this forum on and off and it's a great help where everyone can share their story, nasty stories by H.O and stupid decisions .. Similarly some good news from people, getting to stay in the country and with their families and children.

Applied FLR FP / 10-year partner route my 1st Extension ( in Mid-May,2019, don't remember the exact date probably 14th May , I was given the first 30 months visa in 2016 )

I have two children (both British and they acquire their citizenship from their Mother who is also born British Citizen).

applied online on 14th of May, 2019
Biometric done: 28th of May
H.O , Requested one extra letter for my little one, even though I presented her passport and Birth-Certificate
(who wasn't born when I was given the previous visa in 2016, I had only one child when this FLR FP , Rule 276 visa was granted to me in 2016)

H.O Gave me 14-days to send Doc / Dentist letter : Which I Did (cost me £25.00 and 9 days) , That lady was very understanding and Co-Operative because (this man in the H.O gave me only 7 days time, initially, But when I said, 7 days are too less, she pushed it up to 2 weeks, thanks to her, whomever she was )

I got a letter today around 9:30am , singed for delivery, on the 17th of August, that visa has been granted for 30 months ..
No passports included inside the envelope , It says, Passports will be sent separate and BRP will also come separate.

So, it took my visa 3 months exactly from the Date of Application , Or you can say , 2 months 16 Days from the Date of Biometric approximately

I don't claim no Benefits (No Job Seekers, no housing allowance, no Free Prescriptions , nothing for myself at all)
only thing my wife takes (which goes directly goes in her bank account, which is only on her name) is Child Benefit / Child tax Credit and Working Tax Credit (nothing more)

I was told by the revenue deptt, these 3 aren't classed as Public Funds, these are family entitlements (because) they are based on your national insurance contributions to Exchequer . Just giving some extra information , if someone is interested !!

And I did write all of this info down in my application and included the copies of her bank statements along with the application when went for the biometric and documentation scanning. They returned everything, but kept my Passports.

Hope everyone , waiting for the visa, get it as soon as, because it's just an extra burden / stress over your heads and restricts you sometimes. So my prayers for all of you & best wishes !

Now I am planning to go on holidays for a week with my wife & Kids as soon as my Passport and BRP arrives
Have a great day
Mo

Hi, Could you please advice on all the documents required for flr fp extension on partner route? It’s for my wife, I am British and our kids are British.

Hi Forum,

My FLR FP Application parent of 2 British Kids has now taken 1year and 1 month with no reply. Is there anything I can do at all.. Not sure if contacting MP has historically been effective. I just keep checking the post all day long. It's really worrying.
Contacting your MP is very effective and worth a try.
Send your reference and details to the MP via email . As they have direct contact to the right department at the home office. And call MP if you can.
I contacted the MP in my case but got a reply that it's still under active consideration and I could withdraw if I wanted. I dnt know why they delay applications .it is worth trying but didnt work onnmy case.

Hello mate,

Hope you have got reply. Wishing for the best still

Has anyone been asked to provide Biometrics and how long after did they grant the visa? They took a long time after asking for documents to request for BRP face and fingerprints. They said they were using old BRP.

Can anyone advice how long it will take for them to respond to grant or has anyone been granted shortly after the BRP was done?
