Minimum Tier 2 visa validity to enter UK

Hello,

I am in India right now and my Tier 2 visa expires on 24th Jan 2021. Currently there is travel ban to enter UK.I have my flights rebooked for 9th Jan 2021.
What is minimum visa validity that I can enter UK. Will be there any challenge at UK borders. I

Intention was to enter and apply for ILR as I have completed qualifying period.
Please any clarity around this is highly appreciated. thank you.

As long as you have valid tier 2 visa you should be able to enter UK without any issue.

I suggest you keep your ILR application draft ready and all evidence/proofs ready so you can submit in time.

Yes I think it should be fine considering there is a flight ban and it's beyond anyone's control.

My dependant is in a similar situation (Tier 2 dependant) , cannot enter UK due to flights suspension by Indian Government, which we just found out might get extended to 31st Jan as per the latest news. I hope that is not the case.

If am not mistaken, only direct flights from India to the UK are cancelled. You may however travel via Dubai or Abu Dhabi (Emirates and Ethihad respectively)

Unfortunately the Emirates website is not showing any flights for January.
Etihad is showing some flight options only from one city from 8th Jan onwards. But either way, it's very limited options and if you have already booked a direct flight , its not easy. And you would need to break your journey depending on which city you live in. Hopefully it doesn't get postponed again
