If you are worried and want to be a 100% sure, then just don't use those funds. It is a support from the government, not a mandatory requirement that you use it.Anontier25 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 3:57 pmThat's one way to look at it, but the funds essentially came from the government, so for the businesses that are struggling in light of the lack of revenue, and are struggling to pay the salaires, are indirectly taking the money from the government to pay the staff, that would have otherwise been considered not possible as that's public funding. Just playing devil's advocate in the way the UKVI have a habit of reviewing information.
Time when their employees were furloughed under the UK Government scheme will count towards the 12 month period if they have been paid at least 80% of their normal salary.
The 5th Nov update just came at the right time that went in her favour. She was initially relying on her period of claim even before extension in misconception. However, she was saved by the furlough update. Otherwise, she would not have met the requirements (if furlough was not allowed in 5th Nov update) until she waited few more months.
She means she paid employees 100% wage, 80% was furlough and 20% was top up from her side and she was claiming 80% back from government.
I have already answered I suppose?Anontier25 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 12:59 pmOk, sure. Any thoughts on my questions though as you had conversed with her extensively, and I am not sure if she will reply?
Anontier25 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 10:22 pmTruthfully, not explicitly.
Did she take the furlough money from HMRC, or did she simply just pay her staff 80%?

Sure you can direct any message to her. Anyone can do that. It is only asked not to tag your own questions in someone else’s thread as its unfair to OP. But you can always ask any clarification’s directed at the OP.Anontier25 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 11:03 pm@ Culinan can I ask Maria a question on her thread or I'm not allowed to? I wondered if she'd be ok to share what her cover letter said with regards to the furlough and how she explained that to the HO in her application?
She might not be following this thread.Anontier25 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 8:41 pm@maria would it be possible to share your cover letter please as I am a little confused, because from my understanding of the furlough rules, the payslip has to show the 80% as the RTI information to HMRC shows that, so did your payslips show 100% of the salary but you claimed 80% from HMRC and topped it up with the 20% from your own business and none of your staff worked for the past 6 months then?
Thanks for the clarification.
You can always address your question to the OP for further clarification. It is up to her if she responds or not.Anontier25 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 12:26 pmHappy New Year!
Ok, thanks for that, so how can I reach out to her as per the rules we aren't allowed to write on their OP?

Not sure what the relevance of the amount above is.Ali313 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:41 pmHi Cullinan,CULLINAN wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 12:29 pmYou can always address your question to the OP for further clarification. Could you pls simplify it for me if I can use the the following for job creation in current Covid concessions...
I have 3 part timers for last 3 months, 2 are getting around £500 one 3rd part timer is paid £700 p/m.
I planing to promote one part timer to full time.
So he can further work for next 12 months which can be counted one full time job!
I have a question, the 3rd part timer who have worked 3 months previously as part time, can I also combine his job with other part timers for the previous 3 months to make it count full time? Or if he works now full time only his full time can be counted for job creation not his previous part time work ? Please need your assistance... as the problem I’m facing the first 2 part timers worked but I add their salaries fir 2 it sums £1000. Which won’t be counted as full time. Thanks
