Follow Up Note 1: After almost 20 days I decided to use the HMPO web chat yesterday to check the status of my application and I was informed that my documents had been received and I was to be contacted to have an interview scheduled and that I should await the letter with more information on this. At least I now know I am not lost with extra delays in the process due to COVID... I shall update again!

Follow Up Note 2: After receiving the HMPO letter for interview, I had to email to be booked for an interview since the phone number was constantly busy. They did not reach out to me for a few days so I completed the General Complaints online form on the HMPO website and within 15 minutes I had a response that I was due to be called the next day (Sunday) to get my interview scheduled, which was the case. Interview was offered 5 days latter for Thursday am. Interview was smooth and very friendly.

This process is now over! Thank you all and good luck to everyone settling into the UK
