Hi,
I am currently starting my application for the UK family visa to bring my wife over from Pakistan.
On the online application it asks if my misses has been refused entry/declined visa into any other country other than the UK. When my misses was a a child her mother filled in an visa application to travel to south Africa, so the whole family could join her father who had been living their for a while and had been granted south African citizenship on the basis of being married to a south African national.
Her mothers visa application was rejected on the basis that her father didn't declare at the time of his marriage to the to the south African national that he was already married in Pakistan and therefore was seen in the eyes of the South African Immigration office as deceit on his part.
This application was rejected 8 years ago and the rejection letter received from the South African Immigration office was only addressed to my misses mother and doesn't mention her whatsoever and my misses doesn't have anything on her previous passports to show a rejected visa.
Do I have to state that my misses was declined a visa or no ?
Thank you for your help.
Regards
Muhammed
