Hi indu2,
Position grounds decision are given to people who have human trafficking claim at another home office department called NRM.
With that decision, if you have any pending asylum claim it helps you to receive a good decision as soon as possible.
If I may ask when did you submit your fresh claim?

Hi SheilaM,

A Question for you : Shortage occupation list is updated on 7th Jan 2021and i cannot see a Job listing for Carer's but i can see another job code which is (3213 Paramedics – all jobs).

Can i still be able to apply carer job in (3213 Paramedics – all jobs) ???

Have a very good day.
A carer us NOT the same as a Paramedic. A paramedic has to be qualified. A carer does not.
Hi CR001,

Thank you very much for your kind and useful reply, its much appreciated.

Have a very good day.

Kind Regard's.

Hi Yayah I’m sorry you going through some stress, When I called them I told them I have a work permit (asylum seeker) they booked a date for me to go into Job centre face to face appointment.it’s was just under 5 minutes. Only to confirm name, age, sign some paperwork and they made a photocopy of my new arc card proof of address they asked me to bring.they also gave me some paperwork back. Yes your new arc will be received via TNT they will texts you. They never even knock just saw it on the floor in a brown envelope. Which area do you live? I live in Liverpool I’m sure why they think u don’t have ID when your arc is ID and the work permit paperwork is proof you go a work permit.
Hi SheilaM,

I hope you are fine and doing Great as usual, Yes little stress is there when it comes to hold a call for more than two hours :) with Department of Work and Pension, I came to the conclusion that Asylum Seekers have to have the face appointment at Job Centre Plus in order to apply for the NI number, its a RULE ..... so I have to wait until they resume it.

Thanks for the clarification for everything, and now I am relaxed and waiting for my New ARC Card otherwise I was confused that i have to apply it through the Migrant Help or directly from the GOV.UK.

I am living in Stoke-On-Trent which is situated between Birmingham and Manchester.

I'll update you accordingly when I'll receive the New ARC Card.

Have a very good day.

Kind Regard's.

With Home Office Just need to be patient and prayerful, the time scale they gave is almost coming, so hopefully no more delay. Did you manage to get the documents they requested sent to them?

Dear Yahas76

I am fine, thanks, and hope you are as well. Thank you for your reply. I will write to them again. This is the reply my MP has received from HO in September for his email.

"Your correspondence is very important to us and we are sorry for the delay meaning that it is not possible to provide you with a response within our 20 day target for MPs’ correspondence. We are working to ensure you receive a substantive response as soon as possible. If for any reason we need any further information from your office / constituent then we will contact you.”

Hey guys,
It’s been 4 months now since I have submitted my fresh claim, I know it’s still early but when is the earliest I can email them for an update? Also I am not receiving support from them, I also live with a relative so I don’t live in Home office accommodation but because of the covid things are a bit tight and now I want to call for support, just the money part and not for accommodation, is it possible? And do they do credit check before they grant you support?

Hi Laureen007,

It's paramount for you to apply for support meaning payment and accommodation together but like you said I quoted.. Due to Covid19 they might still grant you payment in terms of section 4 and also you needs evidence of submission from FS units to get your section 4 payment.

Hi Laureen007, reply to your first question... Honestly 4 months it's nothing and pretty much early to ask for update just let them write you for any update it will be good for your Further submission. Just advice through my own experienced. I hope that will help you. Good luck..
