VTU name has been changed-Do I need UK NARIC

Hi Friends, I did my engineering in "VISVESWARAIAH TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY,BELGAUM" and this name appears in my convocation certificate but now university name is changed to "VISVESVARAYA TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY"JNANAN SANGAMA',BELGAUM". This name appears in the UK Point Based Calculator. I am thinking of getting a trascript from University stating both name's refer to the same university. Will this be sufficient or Do I need to get NARIC certificate of comparability. Please reply to me, its urgent.
