Hello!

This query is regarding Child Visa.
Currently I am with FLR and my child who is 6 year is in India and planning to apply visa for him. I see the financial details which says 18600+3800 for first child wherein applying for parent and child together. If applying for a child separately is it still the same (18600+3800) or is it 3800??

Also can I be a sponsor for my child?

The application will be linked together but the financial requirement to be met by the sponsor will be £18,600.

The income requirement to sponsor a parent and child, whether together or separately, is the same (18600+3800).

[W]here the application includes sponsorship of a child at the same time (or at any time before the applicant reaches settlement), or where the sponsor is already sponsoring a child, the minimum income requirement increases and there is a higher financial requirement to be met.

An additional gross annual income of £3,800 is required for the first child sponsored in addition to the partner and an additional £2,400 for each further child.
