I would suggest you file your tax return with FBR for at least the latest year before applying for a UK visit visa. It is a strong document you can provide in support of your application.Kaif Alo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 3:51 pmI am from Pakistan and doing job as site supervisor in a construction company from last 10 months. I also worked in Kuwait from 2010 to 2019.
But i am not a filer in FBR. Kindly advise me as if i can apply for UK visit visa as not being a filer with FBR. My salary is 120k pak rupees per month and getting credit in my account every month.
Kindly advise. Thanks

If you were not a resident in Pakistan from 2010-2019, you did not have to file it anyways.
Also, if you are employed in PAK, I am assuming your tax will be deducted before the 120k PKR hits your account?
I have a very strong ties with my country as i am married and have 3 children. My rest family members are also in Pakistan, i don't have any property named on me. But my father has property on his name. I have 15lack bank balance in my account with 20lakh prize bonds. All this money i have saved while i worked in Kuwait for 9 years.Frontier Mole wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 4:33 pmFederal Bureau of Revenue - Pakistan HMRC...
In essence I think the point being made they have not submitted a tax return to substantiate their earnings. Probably due to the tax year end or something?
Need more information as to the ties to the posters ties to their home country. Property, family etc
I will be applying alone as my wife and kids are not satisfied to travel with me now due to epidamic situation.
Pakistan is not on the UK’s red list for now (no hotel quarantine). Pakistanis can travel to UK for now. Given close to 250M (stats show 220M but its more than that) population, the rate of infection is pretty low there and things are almost close to normal.Frontier Mole wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 11:11 pmI don’t think the UK will be open for visitors by May... and if it is you will spend the first 10 days in hotel quarantine at your own expense.
Perhaps postpone till next year.
Looks like things will be much better by March/April in UK, given the vaccine roll out and transmission rates falling..I would say summers in UK would be a safer bet to travel.... booking a tour or private booking is entirely your choice... or you can get a tentative itinerary made from an authentic travel agent for your visa purpose... Obviously buying the ticket right out before visa approval would not be wise to do, in case the visa is refused (God forbid)...
