Sponsorship for skilled worker

I have been offered a job under IR 35 rules. My salary will be given to me by the umbrella or intermediary company. Currently I’m in tier 2 dependent visa. In future am I allowed to get sponsorship from umbrella company for skilled worker visa as I have been in their payroll? Is it legal to get one.
