Typo error in the police registeration certificate

Hi,

I have just found an error in day of my birth date on the police registeration certificate during the document upload for my skilled worker visa. The month and the year are correct. I really didn't expect the police officer to make this mistake, and after I got the certificate 3 years ago, I reported my change of address to the local police without issue. The met doesn't give appointment during this time and I have to apply for the visa. Do you think it may be a ground for rejection?

It was not my fault as the officer had all of my documents when he was issuing the certificate.

A few years ago, I had an error made by the Police Dept in the post code section of my police registration. It was so minor that I didn't even notice it. My Tier 2 application was rejected based on that.

I don't know what to do. Even if I want to go to the police to fix it, now they are closed due to COVID till the next few months. I think there is no other option other than describing it in the cover letter.

Exact same issue last year, went back to the police station and they just made a note on the certificate stating “birth year should be 199X”. They didn’t think it was a huge issue.

Not sure what you can do now!

I just want to give an update that I got the visa without any issues. I didn't mention anything in the cover letter as well.
