Good afternoon all,
I really appreciate if anyone can help me with the questions!
I entered UK on a 5-year Tier 2 General visa in September 2016,
My husband and kids entered UK half year later - February 2017 on Tier 2 dependent visa.
This year September 2021 all of our visas expire, i will qualify for ILR as i’ll complete 5 years. But my husband and kids will not.
For myself - i will apply for ILR in September 2021
For my husband - as he will not complete 5 years when i apply for ILR, (Question 1:) he should not qualify for ILR i believe? (Question 2:)What’s the best option for him to extend the visa?
For my kids - they will not complete 5 years when i apply for ILR, both were born outside of UK and under 16. (Question 3:)will they qualify for ILR when i apply for ILR? (Question 4:)what’s the best option for them to extend the visa.
(Question 5:)do my husband and kids have to wait until i got the ILR, then they can apply for extension of dependent visa? or we can apply ILR and t2 dependent Extension concurrently?
(Question 6:)as my husband and kids will complete 5 years in February 2022, can they just apply for 6 months extension or one year extension, or it has to be 3 years?
(Question 7:)if they have to apply for 3 years extension, they should be able to apply for ILR in February 2022, no need to wait the whole 3 years right?
i've read some posts in this website, some cases are similar to mine but none of them are the same.
Thanks in advance!!
