application process - in duplicate - cv required ?

I need to know if the hsmp application needs to be made in duplicate i.e do I need to send copies of all the original certificates & documents that I will be submitting.

Do I need to prepare a covering letter explaining each attribute that I am claiming points for ? is there a preferable format for such covering letters ?

Do I need to submit my & my dependant’s CV along with the HSMP application

Please confirm.. are you applying for HSMP or Tier 1 visa. Currently HSMP has been stopped and now they are only issueing Tier 1 visas

Hi,

Your chances will depend on how well you convince the case officer in the HO about your application. I suggest you first do a self assessment for yourself. See how many points you get and then carry on from there.

What about convincing HO officer? I think if one has required points and has provided all required documents, person will get it. Guys let me know if I am wrong ?

i qualify with 100 + 10 +10 points, but i have some questions:

thanks, but why do so many people on this forum keep talkn about covering letters & tweaking their CV's etc ? so are u saying that i shud not send any covering letter or CV with my application ? also, is it certain that if u hav the required points then u will qualify or do they judge ur capability to earn well & only then will they decide to approve ur application ?

Only send a covering letter if some part of your application is highly unusual or complex, in which case you would use the letter to explain the complex point to the caseworker. Otherwise, there is no need for a covering letter.

Send your CV only if it directly answers a question in the application and/or is identified in the guidance notes as evidence relevant to a particular point. In other words, dont send any document that they do not specifically ask you to provide.
