Visa Start Date vs CoS Start Date

Hi there,

I have received a Skilled Worker visa which was applied from outside the UK.

The start date on my CoS is 3 weeks after the start date mentioned in the entry clearance visa that's stamped on my passport.

Questions is: Do I have to wait till the CoS start date to work for my sponsor or does possessing the entry clearance allow me to start working as soon as I enter the UK.
