Tier 2 work start date after the appointment date ?

Hi everyone,

- Currently, I'm on a Tier-2 General (Change Of Employment) process. No dependents. Applying inside the UK.
- My CoS assigned on the 11th of December and the work start date on it is the 4th of January.

1) I have completed my online application on 14th of December but currently, I'm not able to find an available appointment slot from UKVCAS website. It seems the appointment date will be later than my work start date on the CoS. Would it affect the decision? Or the only thing matters is the 90-days from after the date CoS is assigned?

2) I forgot to submit the 3-part Family Consent Form which starts like 'Consent for the Home Office to verify application information'. Mandatory files on my application are:
- CoS
- Passport
- BRP
Just a straightforward application, am I still need to upload it or it is not applicable for my case?

1. It shouldn't affect the decision.

2. If you don't have any joint accounts or someone else providing financial support, then you just need to fill part 1. You should still be able to upload documents up to 48 hours from biometrics appointment. Worst case, keep it ready and at biometrics appointment they can scan & upload it for you (if appointment at enhanced centre or if you book document checking service).

Try at 12 am to find appointment slots, but you'll most likely get appointment after 28 days.

May I ask if you received your visa? because I have the same issue. My work start date on COS is earlier than my biometric appointment date. Does the employer need to change the COS? if they need to change, do I need to do any change? thank you for your help
