Advice please!! Im uk want to marry us girlfriend.

Hi there,

Brandnew here and after some advice.

Right iv been seeing my girlfriend for year and a half she's a full us citizen from birth and im uk from birth and getting to the point where we want to get engaged.

Whats the best way of getting married. oh she wants to get married in the us!

We will probably be living in uk for a while but then head back to usa to settle.

I assume i can get married on a normal trip over there then she can apply from here for a citizenship?

Then since she has married a uk citizen we can apply here for a work visa?

We both want/need to work in the country were living in.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

If you are planning to marry in the US and return to the UK then you can marry on a visitor visa. If you plan to settle in the US directly after your marriage, then you must apply for the fiance visa before going to the US.
