Hi,
I have previously been granted an EEA EFM status (using my BNO passport), however, the relationship was ended after 1.5 years and I managed to switch to a Tier 2 general (using my HK passport), in which I am 2 years in this visa. At this point, I am thinking to switch to BNO Visa as I would like to have a bit more flexibility (i.e. not linking to my employer etc.). From reading the other posts, I understand that the 2 years I have accumulated from the Tier 2 general will count towards the 5 years timing for ILR. I have two questions regarding my situation and would appreciate if anyone could share any guidance:
1. Does the 1.5 years EEA EFM count towards the ILR?
2. Since I currently am using the HK passport for my Tier 2 and would like to switch to the BNO visa, does it still apply the 5 year ILR rule?
Thank you in advance.
