help- HSMP extension,BIA cannot find my documents

i am one of those unfortunate 1+3 HSMP who applied for extension on sept 1st,i have sent an urgent request after a week,now on calling BIA today,the chap was telling me that they cannot find my documents in the transit to processing and that i should call back next week to see if they found my passports and documents.IS that normal,please help..........

Hi Doc,

Be very patient. Sometimes your docs has been delivered to HO but needs to be allocated to a Case Worker and these takes sometimes in some cases. Wait for the next 2 weeks and call BIA again.

This has happened to me too but evetually HO confirmed receipts and got my visa and other docs stamped and sent back to me intact.
