I APPLIED FOR HIGHLY SKILLED FROM NIGERIA. I RECEIVED A LETTER

FROM CIC THAT I SHOULD UPDATE MY STATUS WITH THE OFFICE,

OFFCIAL LANGUAGE OF NIGERIA IS ENGLISH. CAN ANYONE ADVICE

IF I'LL NEED TO WRITE AND SUBMIT IELTS TEST RESULT

IF I'M CLAIMING POINTS FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE ABILITY?

If you can prove that you have spent most of your life in an English speaking nation, working in English speaking organisations and have studied to a high level using the English language you may be OK points-wise without IELTS. Personally I would take the test to remove any risk of delaying your application or losing points - seems a lot less effort.
