Hello All,
I'm looking to apply for my wife's spouse visa next month.
We have everything in place for proof of relationship, adequate accommodation, proof of relationship etc.
However, i just have some questions about meeting the financial requirements.
I am currently employed full time and have been for 3 years, for the past year my income has been £16,822, however, i've had savers of over £22,000 for the past 6 months.
Using their spouse Visa calculator i'm able to meet the requirements for combined savings and income which is £16,000 + £2.50 for every £1 my income is below the financial requirement.
18,600 - 16,822 = 1778 x 2.5 = 4,445 + 16,000 = £20,445.
The only reason i have a worry in my heart is the following.
1) My savings account has not had any transactions in the accounts since January and my bank are unable to provide me with up to date statements from February - July. I have 1 Statement in January - February stating my savings is 22k+ however, I don't have proper bank statements from my bank instead just a transaction statement from January 5th - July 5th. My bank will provide me with a letter saying they're unable to provide 6 months bank statements because of 0 transactions on the account during the months of no use. However, the balance has reminded 22k+ during Jan - July. Would this be enough?
2. I've had a pay rise from April 1st and on my employer letter is says my income is 17,182 now, however on the employer it says my income from April has been 17,182. Should I also ask my employer to put my previous income on the letter and for how long?
3rd I opened a new account in January 16th so that transactions was not showing on my previous account(advised by immigration Solicitors) I have 5 months bank statements new bank statements showing all 6 of my pay slips printed out will this do?
Sorry for the rant
