Invitation letter to ceremony

Post by armcap123456 » Fri Jul 09, 2021 6:39 pm

Hi all,

question regarding the invitation letter. Whilst my application has been approved, after 12 weeks I still did not receive the invitation letter.
Receiving answers from the Home Office mail addresses takes ages and wanted to check here if the home address the HO sends the invitation letter to is the one specified on the naturalisation application filled online?

Thanks a lot for ny advice!

If your approval email/letter didn't also include the invitation then it should come from the council.
Suggest you contact the council and ask whether they have your certificate and when they'll send the invitation.
Any Home Office mail should go to your address per your application.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Hi alterhase58 and all,

unfortunately this morning, after contacting the relevant council, they let me know the letter should be sent by the Home Office.
Is there any HO landline that could be contacted in order to speak to someone? The ones on the websites redirect to clerks that invite me to send a mail. Mails do not get any reply (wrote a couple that went unresponded since 1 month now).

Thanks for any advice
