Financial requirements from emolument and self employed income

Post by shoaib1133‬ » Wed Aug 11, 2021 11:52 am

Hi everyone I hope everyone is doing well my question is about meeting financial requirements for spouse visa with employment and self employed income
I was employed before and in that job I was earning about ‭20 000‬ pounds a year but I left that job and I started doing deliveroo and Uber eat and I been doing this job for four months now this is self employed job and I am earning about ‭2000‬ a month I have utr tax number and I will pay tax on these earning also when due
My question is can I combine these two incomes and apply for spouse visa now
I mean can I use my two months payslips from previous job and four months invoices from my self employment income to meet the financial requirements
Thanks I look forward to your answers thanks and have a good day

The answer is NO. In order to rely on your self employed income, you must use your most recent financial year and you don't have any at the moment because you have recently started your self employed job and you need to wait until next year.
My opinions should not be constituted as an immigration or legal advice.
