Spouse visa extension and application form

Hi team,
I am applying for visa extension of my wife as my dependent (i hold ILR through tier 2 gener route). I have given existing BRP of my spouse to DVLA for provisional license application and waiting for receipt of BRPfrom DVLA.
Please can you help if I can apply for my wife visa extension without having original BRP.
