Visitor visa for mother in law

Can someone please advise....Me and my husband would like to apply for my mother in law tourist visa to uk first time (6months).

Shes a housewife with little income like 8000rs per month.She has a saving of 1lakh rupess in her account.

Can we sponsor her trip with our bank statement etc. Do we need to show her bank statements aswell?

Please advise on the documents list.
