Applying for BRP

Post by bme14 » Mon Aug 23, 2021 6:02 pm

I have recently applied for my Biometric Residence Permit on UKVI, I was wanting to apply with the priority service, however I did not see any point to do so. I need this to prove right to work as apparently my visa on an expired passport alongside a current passport is not good enough.

When i applied via UKVI there was only one service provided and nothing else. Where can I apply for the Priority service? Could I do it via UKVCAS?

You cannot apply for priority after you submit and pay online. If the service was available (usually around 1am BST), you would have seen it before paying for the application and been able to select it.

UKCVAS is merely a third party agent for biometric enrolment and identity check

It is so frustrating as I had no idea that was the timing of availability. Hopefully it is a lesson for someone else looking through this thread. Many thanks!
